Molchanovs Customer Warranty Policy

Molchanovs provides a 1-year (365 days) warranty for all products from the day a customer receives a product. Every Molchanovs customer is given a personal order number. Warranty service, returns, and refunds are only available after providing the order number. Dealers should refer to the invoice number.

The Warranty Policy is designed to address manufacturing defects within the specified time frame. It does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, normal wear and tear, and transport damage (e.g., airlines). Defects or damage to the equipment caused by improper maintenance/product care will render the Warranty Policy null and void. See HERE for a complete list of equipment care instructions.

General conditions

  1. Within 7 days of receiving your order (the delivery date will be stated on to the page for tracking: https://m.17track.net/en/track), please unpack it and check if the received order corresponds with the ordered order’s size, color, and number of items. Then check that it was delivered without any mechanical damage. In the case of finding any discrepancies and/or damage, please take photos of both the shipping invoice on the package and of the received order. Send the photos with comments on the discrepancies and/or damage, along with your order number, to info@molchanovs.com. The Molchanovs Team promises to deal with all order discrepancies in the shortest amount of time possible (with consideration of the real production period). However, please be aware of the fact that the current models of equipment may differ slightly from photos on our webpage (https://molchanovs.com/). Items that are damaged due to excessive or long-term use are not considered faulty.
  2. To ensure maximum performance and extend the life of your equipment, follow the equipment care instructions listed here. Defects or damage to equipment caused by improper/incorrect use or insufficient/improper maintenance and product care will render our Warranty Policy null and void.
  3. Standard-sized equipment (including standard sizes of wetsuits and fins) may be returned within 30 days after receiving your order (the delivery date is stated on the tracking page: https://m.17track.net/en/track) for a full refund. To return your order and get the full refund, the equipment should be unused and retain all of the product labels and sale and shipping invoices. In the case of returning an order, all shipping costs will be covered by the customer.
  4. Gift cards, sale items, swimwear without the hygiene sticker attached, and custom-made wetsuits are non-refundable. Custom-made fins (monofin and bifins) are refundable for up to 80% of the purchase price depending on the degree of customization. There are certain situations where only a partial refund (or no refund at all) can be granted for other returned items, including standard items. This is the case if an item is not in its original condition, damaged, missing parts upon return, or is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  5. Please note that we cannot refund the shipping costs for your purchase or your return. If the refund is due to a faulty item, we will cover shipping and return shipping costs.
  6. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5 business days. If you have not received your refund within 5 business days of our notification, please contact your bank. If your bank cannot find this transaction, please contact us at info@molchanovs.com.
  7. Every Molchanovs customer is given a personal order number. Warranty service, returns, and refunds are only available after providing the order number. Dealers should refer to the invoice number.
  8. If you purchased equipment through an official Molchanovs dealer, you must contact them directly for warranty service, shipping, returns, or refunds.


Warranty terms for Molchanovs wetsuits

  1. Within 7 days of receiving your wetsuit, please check the integrity of all the seams and of the neoprene itself. In the case of finding any significant defects, please take photos of the defects, the entire wetsuit, and the shipping invoice. Send the photos with the defects clearly stated and the order number to info@molchanovs.com. In the case of cosmetic defects which do not influence the functional qualities of the wetsuit, Molchanovs will refund 10% of the paid cost of the wetsuit. If the customer insists on eliminating the defects, Molchanovs will repair/replace the wetsuit, however, shipping costs are fully at the expense of the customer.
  2. The customer should try on the wetsuit within 30 days after receiving your order (the delivery date will be stated on the page for tracking: https://m.17track.net/en/track).
    1. In the case that the wetsuit does not fit properly and does not match the customer’s measurements, please take photos of the wetsuit on the customer and take all the measurements again. Please then send photos of the wetsuit, the shipping invoice, order number, and newly taken measurements to info@molchanovs.com. If measurements were taken correctly, Molchanovs will fully replace the wetsuit and cover all shipping costs.
    2. If the difference between the newly taken measurements and those which were sent in production is 1cm (0.6in) or more, the wetsuit replacement will be fully at the expense of the customer, including all shipping costs.


Warranty terms for all models of Molchanovs fins (bifins and monofins)

  1. Within 7 days of receiving your pair of fins, please check the integrity of every part of the fins, paying special attention to the blades and whether they match the chosen design. In the case of finding any significant defects, please take photos of the defects, the entire fins, and the shipping invoice. Please send the photos with comments on the defects and order number to info@molchanovs.com. In the case of cosmetic defects which do not influence the functional qualities of the fins, Molchanovs will refund 10% of the paid cost of the fins. If the customer insists on eliminating the defects, Molchanovs will repair/replace the fins, however, shipping costs are fully at the expense of the customer.
  2. The customer should try the fins within 30 days after receiving your order (the date of delivery will be stated on the page for tracking: https://m.17track.net/en/track). It is necessary for customers to test the fins in water (open water or pool), ideally with 1-2 training sessions with the fins.
    1. In the case that the fins do not fit properly, please take photos of the fins on the customer’s feet and take all the measurements again. Please then send photos of the fins, the shipping invoice, order number, and newly taken measurements to info@molchanovs.com. If measurements were taken correctly, Molchanovs will fully replace the fins and cover all shipping costs.
    2. If the difference between the newly taken measurements and those which were sent in production is 0.5 cm (0.2in) or more, the bifins replacement is fully at the expense of the customer, including all shipping costs.
  3. The warranty for all Molchanovs fins (bifins and monofins) is 1 year after receiving your order (the delivery date will be stated on the page for tracking: https://m.17track.net/en/track).
    1. If some defects on the rubber parts of the fins appear or if the blades break within 1 year after receiving your order, but the customer followed all the rules of usage, storage, and transportation of the fins, Molchanovs will repair/replace the fins and cover all shipping costs.
    2. If some defects on rubber parts of fins appear or blades break after 1 year of receiving your order, repair/replacement of fins is fully at the expense of the customer, including shipping costs.


Warranty terms for Molchanovs apparel and swimsuits

  1. Within 7 days of receiving your apparel or swimsuit, please check the integrity of all the seams and of the apparel itself. In the case of finding any significant defects, please take photos of the defects, the entire apparel item, and the shipping invoice. Send the photos with the defects clearly stated and the order number to info@molchanovs.com.
  2. The customer should try on the apparel or swimsuit with the hygiene sticker on within 30 days after receiving your order (the delivery date will be stated on the page for tracking: https://m.17track.net/en/track).
    1. In the case that the apparel or swimsuit does not fit properly or you are not satisfied with the color, fit, or design, the item can be returned or exchanged within 30 days after you receive your order as long as the item is still in its original condition. Shipping costs will be at your expense.
  3. Due to swimwear being an intimate item, some pieces contain a protective sticker to keep the fabric from coming into direct contact with the skin to preserve hygiene. Please try on the swimsuit with the hygiene sticker still attached; if you are not 100% satisfied with the fit, you can return it within 30 days of receiving your order. We will not accept returns with the hygiene sticker removed. Please return your item(s) in the original packaging.
  4. The warranty does not extend to damages caused by improper use or maintenance (e.g. scratches, color fading, etc.), accidents, neglect, sun damage, unauthorized repairs or modifications, or normal wear and tear. Cosmetic damages are not covered under warranty except when the product is new and out of the original packaging.


Warranty terms for all Molchanovs accessories and training tools (mask, snorkel, etc.)

  1. Within 7 days of receiving the accessories, the customer should check the integrity of the products. In the case of finding any significant defects, the customer should take photos of the defects, the entire accessory, and the shipping invoice. Photos of the defects, a description of the defects, and the order number should be sent to info@molchanovs.com. In the case of cosmetic defects which do not influence the functional qualities of the accessory, Molchanovs will refund 10% of the paid cost of the wetsuit. If the customer insists on eliminating the defects, Molchanovs will repair/replace the accessory, however, shipping costs are fully at the expense of the customer.
  2. The customer should try out the accessory or training tool within 30 days after receiving your order (the delivery date will be stated on the page for tracking: https://m.17track.net/en/track).
  3. In the case that the accessory or training tool does not fit properly or you are not satisfied with the color, fit, or design, the item can be returned or exchanged within 30 days after you receive your order as long as the item is still in its original condition. Shipping costs will be at your expense.
  4. The warranty does not extend to damages caused by improper use or maintenance (e.g. scratches, color fading, etc.), accidents, neglect, sun damage, unauthorized repairs or modifications, or normal wear and tear. Cosmetic damages are not covered under warranty except when the product is new and out of the original packaging.


Warranty terms for all Molchanovs safety gear (buoys, lanyards, pulley systems, etc.)

  1. Within 7 days of receiving your accessories, please check the integrity of the products. In the case of finding any significant defects, please take photos of the defects, the entire accessory, and the shipping invoice. Send the photos with the defects clearly stated and the order number to info@molchanovs.com. In the case of cosmetic defects which do not influence the functional qualities of the accessory, Molchanovs will refund 10% of the paid cost of the wetsuit. If the customer insists on eliminating the defects, Molchanovs will repair/replace the accessory, however, shipping costs are fully at the expense of the customer.
  2. The customer should try out the safety gear within 30 days after receiving your order (the delivery date will be stated on the page for tracking: https://m.17track.net/en/track).
  3. In the case that the safety gear does not fit properly or you are not satisfied with the color, fit, or design, the item can be returned or exchanged within 30 days after you receive your order as long as the item is still in its original condition. Shipping costs will be at your expense.
  4. The warranty does not extend to damages caused by improper use or maintenance (e.g. buoys that were left fully inflated in the sun or in a vehicle, handles damaged by rope attachments, etc.), accidents, neglect, sun damage, unauthorized repairs or modifications, or normal wear and tear. Cosmetic damages are not covered under warranty except when the product is new and out of the original packaging.


Warranty terms for all Molchanovs bags (bifins bags, monofin bags, hard cases, etc.)

  1. Within 7 days of receiving your accessories, please check the integrity of the products. In the case of finding any significant defects, please take photos of the defects, the entire accessory, and the shipping invoice. Send the photos with the defects clearly stated and the order number to info@molchanovs.com. In the case of cosmetic defects which do not influence the functional qualities of the accessory, Molchanovs will refund 10% of the paid cost of the bag. If the customer insists on eliminating the defects, Molchanovs will repair/replace the accessory, however, shipping costs are fully at the expense of the customer.
  2. The customer should try out the bag within 30 days after receiving your order (the delivery date will be stated on the page for tracking: https://m.17track.net/en/track).
  3. In the case that the bag does not fit your equipment properly or you are not satisfied with the color, fit, or design, the item can be returned or exchanged within 30 days after you receive your order as long as the item is still in its original condition. Shipping costs will be at your expense.
  4. The warranty does not extend to damages caused by improper use or maintenance (e.g. scratches, dents, stains, color changes, or any cosmetic damages that do not affect the functionality of the product), accidents, neglect, sun damage, exposure to extreme temperatures, unauthorized repairs or modifications, normal wear and tear, or improper carrier handling (i.e. airlines). Cosmetic damages are not covered under warranty except when the product is new and out of the original packaging. If your product is damaged while in transit, please submit a claim to the transit company at your destination, and before clearing customs if possible.
